AHA-NY (Asperger's Syndrome and High-Functioning Autism Association) Asperger Syndrome and High Functioning Autism Association/AHA is a not-for-profit organization established in 1988, provides resources, support and information for families, individuals and professionals affected by Asperger Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorders and related conditions.
ASPEN (Asperger's Syndrome Education Network) Asperger's Syndrome Education Network/ASPEN is a not-for-profit organization that provides families and individuals whose lives are affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders (Asperger Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorder-NOS, High Functioning Autism), and Nonverbal Learning Disabilities with education about the issues surrounding the disorders; support in knowing that they are not alone, and in helping individuals with ASD's and NLD achieve their maximum potential; and advocacy in areas of appropriate educational programs, medical research funding, adult issues, and increased public awareness and understanding.

Autism New Jersey is a nonprofit agency providing information and advocacy, services, family and professional education, and consultation, and is dedicated to ensuring that all people with autism receive appropriate, effective services to maximize their growth potential and to enhancing the general public's overall awareness of autism.

GRASP (The Global and Regional Asperger Syndrome Partnership)
GRASP is an educational and advocacy organization that is run by and serves individuals on the autism spectrum, and works to improve the quality of life for these individuals through community outreach, peer supports, education, and advocacy.

National Organization for Women
Founded in 1966, the National Organization for Women (NOW) is the largest organization of feminist activists in the United States.
